Week 4 Review

Good Afternoon gentlemen,

I have truly missed writing these weekly messages and will be coming out with weekly recaps each Tuesday from here on out. This league has been alive for many years and while there have been some changes in traditions, people and kilt losers, the spirit of this league is something that we can not allow to change. In attempting to try and rebuild the fire that we all have for this league I will be weighting weekly recaps along with roasting the absolute shit out of all your teams.

Week 4:

We start off with the matchup of first and worst. Truly a much bigger trap game for Emergency Room (Jeff) than he had expected. With 458.54 points going into the week it was seemingly unfathomable that Emergency Room would have trouble in his matchup against Team Hanrahan who has become the newest member of this league, while also being the newest frontrunner than for Kilt loser. However I think to all of our shock and some impressive performances from a few key players, Team Hanrahan managed to pull off a very close game only losing by 15 points. Goff had a tremendous outing along with a terrific duel combination of points from Hockenson. If the lions offense can continue to be this electric, it seems this could a good sign for Team Hanrahan going forward. The lose of his RB2 Javonte Williams will hurt however with the lack of RB depth that Team Hanrahan has. Emergency Room on the other hand, the continued dominance of Nick Chubb has been terrific for their team and even with fairly lackluster performances from otherwise super star QB’s, it seems that the depth of their rb’s can carry them far.

Moving on to a late closing final score, we had a matchup of Pompano Beach Sniper Gang (Roy) and Harder Kulm (Ed). Now while PBSG seemed like a sure lock to win this game going into Monday nights game, Harder Kulm proved that his team could be just as explosive as his name implies. With a domination by Deebo Samuel and San Fransisco D/ST, Ed pulled out a win behind a continued lacking performance from Najee Harris and Derek Carr. Going forward these two are going to need to step up their game if you are to win more of your games without late theatrics. As for PBSG, it seems even with a mediocre performance your team needed more out of your running backs. It is unfortunate with the injury to Corderelle Patterson that you could not pull out more points this week.

Next we have the matchup of Balls Deep (Conner) and King of December (Carl). This matchup was decided after the 1PM games as KOD had pulled a remarkable lead with top running backs Miles Sanders, Jamaal Williams, and with a bounce back performance from Austin Ekeler. Even with an almost non-existence from QB’s KOD was still able to pull out a remarkable win and become the most points in the week. Hats off. As for Balls Deep, it seems his players were balls deep in mediocrity.  The lack of any type of decent performance from any of his players is concerning and has been the story of his year so far.

Our last game of the week was between Team Downs and Only I can say the N Word (Jared). With this stenos battle between these two teams, OICSNW came out on top following a stellar performance from the most likely single Tom Brady as well as Broncos Country Russel Wilson. It was great to see that even without Tua Taguviloa (im not looking up how to spell) Tyreek Hill seems to still be a great resource and a must start every game. OICSNW should hope that Kamara comes back to full ability if they want to continue on this great run and strong team performance. Team Downs on the other hand was cucked this week by Commie Carson Went as well as the lack of RBs depth. A bright spot to his week was the absolutely breakout performance from Rashad Penny. If he can continue to take a majority of the touches away from Kenneth Walker III this is a major bright spot in John’s RB’s.

Looking forward this can be a major week for everyone. Carl and Jeff look to remain undefeated and in a battle that will leave one of them with an L (or a tie but no shot). Team Hanrahan looks to get their first win of the season against Harder Kulm who looks to move the mark to over .500. Balls Deep and Only I can say the N Word fight it out in a matchup that could be decided by a Sunday night show out from star kicker Evan McPherson. While Pompano Beach Sniper Gang faces off against Team Downs in a matchup of mediocre RB’s.

King of December:

Your QB’s are spotty and unreliable. With Mr. Tua being out for however long, its going to be tough to stay undefeated for much longer. I’ll be interested to see if your top heavy wide receivers can keep up with competition this year as you have no real WR 2,3, or flex. You will also run into some trouble if the Eagles decide to start up their committee backfield and Miles Sanders halts the work he has been seeing.

Harder Kulm:

IDK what the fuck is going on with Najee but its bad that your 5th overall pick is performing like he is. Your WR’s are questionable to say the least, Deebo relies on big games and is streaky at best while Theilen is moving to be a a possible flex start at best and Bateman is on a team that forgets that he exists when he’s on the field. For your sake let’s hope that slant boy can be an actual viable WR for you.

Pompano Sniper Gang:

With no Patterson, your running backs are officially shit. Good luck starting a backfield of Akers and Henderson.

Balls Deep:

Your Qb’s are so overrated and were drafted like it was 2020. Your RB’s are streaky with no clear RB3 when Wilson inevitably loses his job. Relying on the falcons offense for 2 of your starters is a waste of spots, just take 5 points a week and have your remaining 11 players try to score 100.

Emergency Room:

It would be a lie if I didn’t say I have a Chubb for your RBS (im funny). Your wide receivers on the other hand have much to be desired. Metcalf and Kirk are STREAKY. You better hope Pickens brings his black airforce energy with Pickett at Qb so you can have a reliable WR2.

Only I can say the N Word:

Your ridding on QBs that have a combined age nearing 80. Your RBs are all past their prime as well with the exception of Dobbins who will be outrun by his Qb every game. Get less overrated RBs.

Team Downs:

Dude, every year you go with the no RB strategy and it works, but this year im not sure that it will. At least pick up some full backs and maybe you’ll get 6 points a game.

Team Hanrahan:

As a new member its great to have you in the league and I thank you for your draft with the #1 overall pick. Regarding the first pick, JT has been a disaster this year. With the loss of Javonte for the year it’s hard to see your running backs putting up meaningful numbers going forward. Also WR wise, Dionte with Mitch the bitch has disappeared. Next few weeks will be tough
