Week 7 Review

Good Afternoon Gentlemen,

Apologies for the late submission but here we are with a recap of our midpoint of the season week 7. I hope you all had a thrilling time this week watching each other lose, cheer, and maybe even cry a little (sorry John). As we recap this weeks matchups lets all keep in mind that although we are getting deep into the season, no one is safe from the Kilt Bowl yet. That is besides Emergency Room. A huge congratulations to Jeff and his team on being the first team to officially clinch the playoffs. A historic starting position for Jeff as he looks for his season to turn out differently than circa 2015 Edward did. Now although he has not clinched it appears that King of December is almost a lock for the playoffs as well touting the same record as Emergency Room (albeit in a better division). I look forward to possibly making the announcement next week of another clinched team.

Moving on to our recap of this week, it was a wonderful showing this week from many players with some big injuries occurring and even a massive trade that will surely impact all of the football world but more importantly the fantasy football world. We start out this week with Harder Klum facing off against Only I Can Say The N Word.

It was a big game for OICSTNW as although he has seemingly clinched second in his division, he was hoping to get above .500 in order to solidify his potential spot in the playoff. It was a rather awkward week as OICSTNW has been plagued by injuries and with a a devastating bye to Devante Smith, there was no real stand out for his team. Tom Brady seems to be no longer under the witchcraft of Gisele and has been embarrassing this year. Likewise, we are still looking for any meaningful performances from Alvin Kamara and the poor choice of starting Kenyan Drake this week was a sore spot to this lineup. With that being said the bright spot of this team appears to be George Kittle, who may have emerged as one of the biggest benefactors of the Christina Mccaffery Trade blowing up in what seems to be his first time in 2 years. On the other side of the battlefield we had Harder Klum. Now this team looks very solid with an outstanding Performance by Patrick Mahomes returning to last season form and a serviceable job from all of his running backs and flexes. THERE still are flaws to Harder Klums strategy with a very jarring lack of production from his wideouts. A costly fumble from Michael Pittman jr and just an overall lack of production from Deebo Samuel and Rashod Bateman is hard to overlook. Again could Deebos value be tanking following a new playmaking player for the 49ers in CM23? Regardless of this, Harder Klum was able to muster out the win and improve to 4-3 while OICSTNW falls to 3-4.

Line Set: Harder Klum -11.5 ✅ 28.34

Next on our matchup, we had the matchup of Team Hanrahan against Balls Deep. This being a rather large game for Team Hanrahan (as every game from here on out will be) it was shocking to see no effort being shown whatsoever. Team Hanrahan started Darell Henderson jr. who was on bye as well as playing Joshua Kelley who is the 4th string running back for the Chargers and placed on IR Saturday prior to the games as his RB2 and 3. Now aside form these two miscalculations, Team Hanrahan’s team performed…… horribly as well. Jared Goff looked like a tool against the Cowboys and Lamar Jackson was too busy worrying about how much he needs to get paid to do anything meaningful fantasy-wise. Ezekiel Elliott was a bright spot showing off with a solid 2 TDS on the not most efficient of rushing attempts. Terry McLaurin also showed a bit of life finally catching his second TD of the season proving that he at best a streaky WR3. On the other hand, Balls Deep looked dominant again this week. Joe Burrow and Ja’mar Chase look lethal as a duo. As predicted (while not exact) Deandre Hopkins is back baby and the league should be on notice of this WR1 for the future. The RB core of Aaron Jones and Breece Hall was explosive. So explosive that Breece Hall has decided to sit out the rest of the season to give everyone else in the league a chance to compete. You are all welcome. No matter, Aaron Jones, Najee Harris, and Dalvin Cook will carry Balls Deep far this week as his team is starting to fully take form. In the end Balls Deep slaughtered in this game and moves to 4-3 while the ever falling Team Hanrahan has dropped to 1-6.

Line Set: Balls Deep -6.5 ✅ 83.74 (yikes)

Our next matchup was what I expected to be the matchup of the week between King of December and Team Downs. Now while the chirping was on point this week there was a lackluster performance from both teams. I highly expected a shootout in this game ever with the multitude of byes and injuries for both teams. Team Downs sadly played D’andre Swift who was listed as inactive before the game on Sunday hurting his RB3 for the game. As for the rest of Team Downs’ team, there were honestly a lot of bright spots. Chris Olave looks to be a consistent WR 2 at his floor and Mike Williams I truly believe has surpassed Keenan Allen as the Chargers go to receiver. David Montgomery looked stellar and might have regained some new confidence in his backfield hopefully giving him a good outlook. With Jerry Judy potentially being traded it is a good look for Team Downs for the future but sadly not for this matchup. King of December on the other hand, Rolled with the help of his 2 outstanding running backs. Kenneth Walker season is hear and Austin Ekeler looks to be a more confident running back each week. Hell even CEH looked good this week. Now there were a decent amount of points left on the bench this week at QB but I do respect the decisions made by King of December. This may cause trouble in the future though as it seems all his QBs are of 2nd tier quality and matchups/week to week is going to be the future for King of December’s team. Ultimately this game came out in favor of King of December who moved to 6-1 while Team Downs remains with 1 win at 1-6.

Line Set: King of December -5.5 ✅ 16.6

Our last matchup of the week was what was the true matchup of the week between Pompano Beach Sniper Gang and Emergency Room. This matchup came down to the wire and ultimately was the matchup of Patriots running backs in the end. PBSG had some points left on the bench but honestly no real changes I would have made before hand. PBSG had a great showing in actuality especially from Eno Benjamin. Benjamin looks to be serviceable for the future and it with a well rounded scoring effort from everyone else, it was a great effort, but Emergency Room was too much to handle. Even with the surprising news of the CM23 trade, it was a ballsy move to start him and I respect that. The rest of Emergency Rooms team did not perform up to snuff aside from a great defensive selection of the Dallas D and the monster game from Josh Jacobs. Jacobs still the show of this matchup and looked amazing in this offense. George Pickens also looks to be coming more into the Steeler offensive scheme which should get Jeff going for 2 reasons. In the end, Emergency Room snuck out a win in this matchup improving his record to 6-1 and clinching the playoffs while Pompano Beach Sniper Gang class to bottom of the division at 3-4.

Line Set: Emergency Room -8.5 ❌

It was a terrific week and great showing. As we are now at the halfway point of the season, I believe that it is important to talk about ESPN’s playoff percentage chance for each team as Team Downs and Team Hanrahan look to be the clear front runners for the kilt bowl this year. As for Points for, there are currently 4 teams over 1000 points on the year and 4 under with 2 of the under being in the low 800’s. This seems like a tall task to make up but I think it is important to note that Only I Can say The N Word is 1st in terms of least points allowed while having the second lowest points as well. That could make for an interesting second half of the season for him.

Looking ahead at this week, we have our rematch of week one as we try to see if anyone will sweep in this two game series between teams. This portion of your weekly recap is sponsored by BETCSM. BetCSM, I’m wrong most the fucking time but I’m still going to do these.

Balls Deep V Emergency Room:

Looks to be a fun matchup this week between the two best teams in the league. Emergency Room will be without their QB2 and Balls Deep looks to satisfy the league with winning without the help of Breece Hall. Big Matchups to look at this week are Jalen Hurts v Pittsburgh (Will Jeffs own team be his downfall this week??) and Joe Burrow v Cleveland (divisional game with the Browns coming off of holding down Lamar Jackson to 11 points.)

Game Line: Balls Deep -.5 -110 | Emergency Room +.5 -110

Matchup Bets:

Kyle Pitts 6+ rec 60+ yds, 1+ TD

CM23 3+ Rec 9+ Rushes 110 + Total yds

Pompano Beach Sniper Gang V Only I Can Say the N Word

This matchup is more evenly built than you think but OICSTNW will need to overcome some serious lineup changes and byes this week to have a chance against PBSG. Big Matchups to look at this week are Tom Brady v Baltimore (Can Brady bounce back against a stellar defense at home?) and Josh Allen v Green Bay (This game is going to be a lot lower scoring than some people may think, it will be a defensive battle but can Buffaloand Josh avoid falling in this trap game?)

Game Line: Pompano Beach Sniper Gang -20 -110 | Only I can Say the N Word +20 -110

Matchup Bets:

Tyreek Hill 7+ Rec 130+ yds 2+ TDS (BIG TIME BET, call me the capitol cause I’m on top of hill!)

Derrick Henry 2+ Rec 17+ Rushes 90+ yds 1+ TD

King of December V Team Hanrahan

With Team Hanrahan’s star running back Joshua Kelley on bye this week, it seems to be a simple matchup for King of December. This seems like a trap game for King of December and could turn into a shootout very quickly with some luck from Team Hanrahan. Big Matchups to watch: Brandon Aiyuk v Los Angeles (Rams) (This game could be huge for Aiyuk or he could be cold. With the rams needing to focus on CM23 and Deebo, Aiyuk might be the next man up for this challenge… or not.), and Chris Godwin vs. Baltimore ( Godwin could have a big weak if the O line for the Bucs and Tom Brady get their act together, on the other hand he could not see a target all game either.)

Game Line: King of December -32.5 -110 | Team Hanrahan +32.5 -110

Matchup Bets:

Mark Andrews 5+ Rec 75+ yds 1+ TDS

Dionte Johnson 3+ Rec 65+ yds 1 TDS

Harder Klum v Team Downs

This could be our closest game of the week and I am calling MATCHUP OF THE WEEK🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

With Harder Klum losing both Mahomes and Kelce this week due to byes, it will seem that the rest of his players will need to muster up a lot of points to beat a almost fully healthy and bye free Team Downs. Big Matchups to look for: Saquon Barkley v Seattle (This could be a tough game for the Giants who are riding a high streak. Seattle will be tough to beat especially at home.) and Aaron Rodgers v Buffalo (This is going to be a tough battle for Rodgers but if he can muster up enough power to persevere without any viable receivers.)

Game Line: Team Downs -1.5 -110 | Harder Klum +1.5 -110

Matchup Bets:

Michael Pitman Under 10 rec un 60 yds

David Montgomery Under 15 rushes un 60 total yds

With that, I will conclude this weeks summary. Again apologies for the late timing of this weeks. Best of Luck.
