Week 6 Review

GOOOOOD Afternoon all.

Well Gentlemen I think it is safe to say this week has been a crazy shakeup for the league. With some thrilling upsets in the NFL this week we also saw some captivating upsets within our league.

We start with a rather easy matchup this week for team Balls Deep who face off against Pompano Beach Sniper Gang in a matchup that was underwhelming to say the least. PBSG put up a rather decent performance from Gabe Davis and Rhemondre Stevenson who were his real only bright spots of the week aside from the always spectacular Josh Allen. It was sad to see though that PBSG’s top RB was benched in his game as he might be by the rams until he is traded. Cam Akers was always overrated but holy fuck you could be in deep shit in the next couple of weeks barring a trade. Balls Deep on the other hand led by his QB/WR combo of Joe Burrow and Ja’marr Chase had an absolutely stellar game with great assistance from Breece Hall, Dalvin Cook, and of course new best friend Najee Harris. (ITs bounce back time baby!)

We move next to our mega trade matchup between Team Downs and Team Hanrahan in which we sought to find out who was the true winner of their blockbuster trade. In this low scoring matchup we saw a huge battle from a lack of depth at running backs but ultimately it was Team Hanrahan who walked away with the victory even while playing a tight end who was out and a third string running back. Team Hanrahan did see some bright side with Darell Henderson who seems to now be the sole back on the Rams. Team Downs on the other hand saw a horrid week for him. Carson Wentz looks like a 8th grader on the field just chucking the ball up to receivers and the rest of his team looks no better. Rodgers looks like he is still going to struggle but the one bright side would be if Stefan Diggs could put up 40 a game for you. Very unlikely but it is your best shot at winning games right now.

Now what I had previously touted as the game of the week, the apartment matchup, Harder Klum vs King of December. It was a tough matchup for these two teams who really gave it there all. Harder Klum looked to show off his new running back death and star receiver in Michale Pitman and while Pitman worked out, Mostert seemed to be a one and done type of Running back. King of December on the other hand had a great showing from his whole team with a phenomenal performance from Trevor Lawrence. He looks to not be an early start only QB and King of December looks to be back on the winning back with this victory. I’d be curious to know how much showboating occurred this weekend.

Finally our best matchup that occurred this weekend with a late time decision was Undefeated Emergency Room and Only I can say the N Word. OICSNW looked to knock off the undefeated Emergency Room this week and was successful. It can only be described by a great overall performance from Mixon and Kamara. It can also noted that Emergency Room’s management skills may have been his downfall this week. With a questionable decision of picking up Zach Gentry, it seems that Emergency Rooms NFL allegiance may have been his downfall. Picking up any other serviceable TE may have been able to give him the edge in this game that saw his star QB’s get boxed like a fish. Justin Herbert was getting pressured in less than a second last night and as much as the eagles fans in this league will disagree, Dallas did a great job blanketing Jalen Hurts and bringing the pressure. Still, this matchup will go down in this year as one of the most memorable as the undefeated champion was defeated.

Currently, we are nearing the halfway point of the regular season and I wanted to take a looks at some of the stats for our teams this year.

As we look at teams who have scored the most, it seems that Emergency Room has still been able to top this list after a lackluster showing this past week with 970.3 points. Sequentially we have Harder Klum surprising us with 954.82 points, King of December with a solid 945.16 points, Pompano Beach Sniper Gang with 927.06 points, Team Downs with 831.64 points, Balls Deep with 826.98 points, Team Hanrahan with 741.64 points and surprisingly Only I can Say the N word with 727.66 points. Now as we all know Points for is a true showing more than record of a teams strength but I think in the next couple of weeks we will see some shake ups in this order. As for Playoff projection percentage, we have King of December and Emergency room with a 99% to make the playoffs, Harder Klum with a 95% chance to make the playoffs, Pompano Beach Sniper Gang 92%, Balls Deep 87%, Only I can Say the N word 75% and then the bottom of the barrel, Team Downs 29% and Team Hanrahan 23%. Team Downs and Hanrahan it seems the league might be running away from both of you.

At a look at next week,

Team Hanrahan vs. Balls Deep:

A good matchup between these teams as Team Hanrahan will have Darell Henderson missing due to bye and Balls Deep will have a lost of Dalvin Cook and Matt Stafford. But guess who’s back baby fucking Deandre Hopkins off those PEDS. Should be a big week for him. It should be a good week and matchup for these two teams and Team Hanrahan I’m ready for you to bring me down. Best of Luck

Only I can Say the N word vs. Harder Klum:

Next we have the matchup of between Only I can Say the N word. It seems that this matchup could be a blowout as OICSNW seems to be seeing some depth issues with the injury to Marquise Brown and a bye to Devonte Smith. Lets hope for his sake that Keenan Allen comes back this next week and returns to all-pro stat lines. Harder Klum on the other hand  seems to have a balanced week with only Adam Thielen out on bye this next week. This should be a fun matchup to watch.

Pompano Beach Sniper Gang vs. Emergency Room:

Man cannot catch a break with these byes PBSG. A big loss this week of Josh Allen and Gabe Davis but it looks like your Wide outs will be fine this week. Your RB on the other hand could be hurt with the loss/bye week of cam Akers and massively you will be at a huge loss without Josh Allen. Emergency Room on the other hand is looking for that bounce back game after losing last week but it will most likely have to be done through the waiver wire with QB’s. Auction dollars could come into play this week as these two teams will be fighting to pick up a serviceable QB to help them in this matchup.

MATCHUP OF THE WEEK🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

King of December vs Team Downs:

Now with this matchup we have a shit talking masterpiece. Im hoping to see tons of chirping throughout the week and this weekend between the both 3 time champions in this matchup which can only be described as gritty. King of December might have a very tough time with some big losses to his team this week due to byes in Justin Jefferson, Miles Sanders, and Devin Singletary. On the other hand, Team Downs could be in for a shit show with Cooper Kupp and Stefan Diggs on byes this week. It might be hard for Team Downs to win this match with the number 1 and 2 receivers in the league. It should be a nice matchup.

Now for a new segment this week I have decided I will be adding my own personal predictions and lines for this weeks matchups.
